Focusing — listening to the body, a gentle path to emotional healing
Focusing is a gentle way of inner listening. When we give space to what the body truly feels, something begins to shift on its own — tensions soften, a natural felt shift occurs, and new clarity emerges.
I’m Yonatan Saar. I’ve been practicing and guiding deep processes in meditation, mindfulness, and Yoga-Tantra for over 25 years. Over time I discovered that Focusing — a simple, respectful way of listening to the body and its felt sense — integrates naturally with meditation and yoga, adding depth, emotional connection, and practical clarity. Here, Focusing is at the heart of the work: simple, direct, and allowing a close connection to ourselves.
Who is it for?
-
If you sense painful or stuck places inside that want space.
-
If you’re seeking deep inner quiet and an honest connection with yourself.
-
If cultivating more authentic, close relationships matters to you.
-
If decisions sometimes feel confusing or life feels overwhelming and you want a real moment to pause and listen within.
We create a quiet, safe space where you can be with whatever arises, at your pace. I reflect what you bring, and at times offer a question that gently points inward — yet most of the work happens through your own listening. Often, this very listening allows sensations to change on their own, bringing relief and clarity.

How does a sassion feels like?

Personal focusing processes
Gentle and deep listening to the body and sensations, which allows us to touch the stuck places, gradually release them, and reconnect with ourselves.

Personally guided meditation
A quiet, conscious space that is personalized strengthens internal stability and allows this listening to be integrated into everyday life — in relationships, decisions, and the ups and downs of life.

What clients tell
Focusing has completely changed the way I look at life and myself. I was introduced to Jonathan in India, through a friend who came back raving about a Focusing session with him, and something tickled me and I knew I had to experience it.
I did three sessions in total, and each one was very meaningful to me. Thanks to Focusing, I understood what it means to be truly connected to my body and emotions, what it means to truly listen to myself, and most of all, it gives me room to breathe and relax.
Jonathan opened up a whole world to me, and I thank him for that with all my heart. Beyond the focusing process itself, which is amazing, Jonathan himself is also amazing. From the first second, he gave me a sense of security and calm, he is attentive and present, and his presence is with a special and authentic energy that you don't experience every day.
I highly recommend that everyone be exposed to this amazing thing called focusing

I met Jonathan by chance and how fun it was. I started practicing with him and discovered another magic in the practice. The meditation practice under his guidance is accessible, pleasant, everyone finds the ability within the practice. With Jonathan's help, I was also able to persevere more in the practice of pranayama meditation and progress. He knows how to make things accessible in an understandable and interesting way that is adapted to the point where you are. He is full of general knowledge and also one that he practiced himself, and this is one of the important things in a meditation teacher. And you gain a great teacher and friend. Highly recommended!

Jonathan and I had an exceptional collaboration as part of my project "The Degree Begins with the Great Trip," to hold academic courses for travelers after military and national service in India, which provide academic credits. Last May, the "Judahodo" course on Judaism and Buddhism was held, in collaboration with the Kibbutzim Seminar College at Beit Binah in Dharamsallah.
During the course, Jonathan led the workshops on Buddhism, which combined rich and in-depth theoretical knowledge alongside mindfulness practices. His guidance was done with professionalism, sensitivity, and full presence, and he really managed to touch the hearts of the participants.
I really enjoyed working with him – not only professionally but also personally. Jonathan was a true partner in my journey, a dedicated person who worked wholeheartedly, saw the students in depth, provided them with personal guidance and support, and especially mobilized himself out of empathy for many of them who arrived in a post-traumatic state following the war.

It was a great gift to learn with Jonathan, who showed me the path towards more freedom and also helped me address all the energetic and emotional releases that are happening through the process.
I feel lucky to have been guided by him, as a teacher and a friend, feeling genuinely cared for and listened to to navigate my spiritual path and personal life with all its treasures and pitfalls. His experience allows him to teach with depth and lightness, practicing seriously but also having fun and talking about all kinds of topics. Deep thank you for having spent so much time with me and for all your support 🙏🙏🙏

Jonathan is a professional and attentive therapist, who combines sensitivity, genuine listening, and the ability to guide an internal process with gentleness and clarity. The eight sessions I had with him were very meaningful to me, and I highly recommend him to anyone who wants to deepen their understanding of themselves.

Dear Jonathan! Thank you very much for the path you walk with me, thank you for the teaching, the support, the sensitive and wise guidance, and the response you have for me to all the obstacles along the way.
Since we met, I feel that the path has become clearer for me, both for myself and for my students. I know that I have gained a teacher for life and that I have someone to rely on with every question and every academic and emotional problem. I wanted to say thank you from the bottom of my heart from me and my students.
We all benefit from the wisdom of the path and the heart you share.

I worked with Jonathan using the Focusing Method. Jonathan is an excellent teacher and guide, thanks to whom and the method I felt significant progress in my abilities, understanding and correct action on a daily basis. I highly recommend that everyone experience treatments with Jonathan.
